At Fitness Arts, we have combined and refined the art of bodywork from traditionally based eastern techniques to the cutting edge western modalities of physical medicine to facilitate the healing process.
The idea behind bodywork is that people learn—or are forced by injury or stress into—unnatural ways of moving or holding their bodies. This unnatural movement or posture changes the natural alignment of bones, which in turn causes discomfort and pain as well as may contribute to other health problems.
We believe that weak or inhibited muscles can create the need for other muscles to tighten up in order to help stabilize the joints, thus muscle tightness is a form of protection in the body.
The aim of our bodywork:

- Reduce stress and ease pain.
- Reeducate the muslces to move more effortlessly, painlessly and effectively.

- Restore normal body alignment, thereby, decrease pain and reducing the risk of injury.
- Create space between muscle and bone, allowing the body’s perfect circuitry to fire in logical and correct order.
