Pilates StudioFitness Arts has one of the oldest and largest Pilates studios in the Chicagoland area. All instructors at Fitness Arts are certified in all levels of Mat, Reformer, Wunda Chair and Cadillac with upgraded courses consisting of pre and post natal, therapy ball, foam roller, therabands, gait analysis, Posturology, corrective exercise, rehabilitation, and other Pilates accessory equipment.

We offer both group, private and semi-private classes, and our instructors have a variety of backgrounds and training with Master Pilates instructors including Romana Kryzanowska, Ron Fletcher, Kathy Grant, Michael Miller and Wendy Arbuckle.

Fitness Arts Pilates applies contemporary approach while upholding the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. We incorporate modern exercise science principles, including cutting edge biomechanics and rehabilitation as well as athletic performance enhancement for professional, college level, and Olympic class athletes.

All group classes at Fitness Arts are limited to a maximum of 6 students to ensure proper attention and focus on perfect alignment and accurate bio-mechanics to our students. Our classes optimize functional movement whether you want to tone your muscles, increase flexibility, recovering from an injury or simply maximize efficiency in day to day function outside of class. Freedom from pain, stiffness or lack of tone is only a few classes away.

We have group classes on the Pilates reformer and other equipment taught by certified instructors. Learn to incorporate efficient breathing and alignment for better posture, pain free movement with emphasis on maximum flexibility and tone for the whole body. Designed to get maximum results in minimum time, these efficient Pilates method will work all muscle groups and help you achieve a longer, leaner-looking “Pilates body.”

All exercises are developed with modifications that can make a workout safe and challenging for a person at any level.

Private Lesson

A personal training session is the most effective way to learn, practice and perfect Pilates performance. The instructor devotes undivided attention to a student’s specific needs and develops a customized program to produce optimum results. This especially effective for students with special needs.

It is worthwhile to invest in a few lessons especially when you are starting for the very first time or have special needs that need to be address before attending group classes to establish an understanding and competence in the fundamental Pilates principles.
